Whitehall Vineyard

The story behind the wine.

A love of growing, a passion for wine and working with the land, set the Self family on a journey; to hand craft exceptional English wines from their home at Whitehall Farm. Since 1894 and for 5 generations, the Self family having lovingly worked the land at Whitehall Farm in Lacock, Wiltshire and it is now home to their award-winning vineyard.

Established in the Spring of 2017, 16,000 vines were planted by hand, one by one covering a total of 11 acres. Situated in the historic National Trust village of Lacock in Wiltshire, overlooking the beautiful Avon valley, rich, fertile soils provide perfect conditions for growing. Rondo, Bacchus, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris grapes of the highest quality are cared for and nurtured by a small team.
