Drawing from Nature - a two-part drawing course designed to develop skills and inspire new ideas.
Part One - Thursday 22nd February 2018 from 10:00am until 1:30pm. £40.00 per person per course date.
Discover how to use drawing materials effectively to depict the contrasting textures found in nature. We will experiment with both hard and soft pencils and weight of line to create variations of emphasis and add drama to your drawings.
Part Two - Thursday 22nd March 2018 from 10:00am until 1:30pm. £40.00 per person per course date.
Concentrating on composition and perspective, we take an alternative viewpoint and practise using the tonal values of light and shade to create spatial illusions in your work. Learn how to use a simple 'stomp' for blending and soft erasers to suggest highlights.
Individual tuition will be given throughout both the sessions, with the aim of providing each student with a rewarding and enriching experience.
The course tutor is award winning artist, Rosalind Robinson ASWA. Rosalind is a member of The Society of Women Artists and the Bath Society of Botanical Artists.
A material list will be sent to you once enrolled on the course.
